5.Churros, Hot Chocolate, and Games Family Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 66 reviews · 3 hours · from $93

Spend three hours with a private local guide exploring Barcelona’s Old City through games, short walks, food stops, and family-friendly stories. You’ll visit La Rambla, La Boqueria, the Gothic Quarter, El Born, and Ciutadella Park, with Iberian ham, churros, and hot chocolate included. Guides such as Patricia, Simon, and Shari adapt the pace for young children.

“Shari was so understanding and patient with a shy but rambunctious 3.5 year old and a at times tired and fussy 6 month old baby. We learned a ton, had some delicious churros, and Shari was very patient with us needing to pause to change and feed our 6 month old on the tour, finding us a private and shady spot indoors with things to see and do for our older child. Would highly recommend for families with small children! I’d really recommend starting as early as you can if you have young kids. Pick a day when the earliest time slot is free. Kids can add time.”

Meet your English- or Spanish-speaking guide in Casa Amatller’s entrance hall for a one-hour tour of the noble floor, staircase, furnishings, and Catalan modernist details. You’ll see the Amatller family home much as it was designed, avoid the ticket line, and receive a chocolate gift at the end.

“Une de mes meilleures visites à Barcelone. Nous étions 4, plus le guide, visite privée ! Très belle demeure à visiter absolument. Par contre, grosse erreur de ma part, NE PAS acheter le chocolat au magasin du musée. Allez au magasin principal qui est environ 500m plus loin. Beaucoup moins de choix à celui du musée mais surtout vous paierez en moyenne 35% plus cher. Du vol.”
